Email Newsletters are still one of the best ways to stay in touch with your customers. How can you do it with Webflow?
There are at least two types of integration to consider-
- Sign-up. Making it easy for site users to add themselves to your mailing list(s)
- Automatic sends. Pushing out e.g. new blog articles to the list automatically when they’re published.
Always check the Webflow app store for integrations here, new stuff all the time. I haven’t checked before writing this.
Sign-Up
Can be easy, all platforms have a drop-in embed form you can use, which handles the mechanics but gives no styling options.
Can also be difficult if you want tight styling control over that sign-up form, and/or more complex features like “choose which lists you want to subscribe to.” There are some old articles/videos and tips somewhere from Finsweet on this regarding Mailchimp + Webflow and how to deal with checkboxes, if you want to deep dive on this.
Every platform would be different.
Automatic Sends
This is built into Audienceful.
Can be built in different ways on other mailing list platforms. The easiest is probably RSS feed integration. You enable your RSS feed in Webflow and use it to inform your campaign. Limited content there, so you’d basically be announcing the article, and then a big link back to your site to read it.
Can be built using integrations as well. Use Webflow’s webhooks against e.g. Zapier or Make, and setup an API-based way to trigger a new campaign when new article is published. A lot of wiring and testing to nail down the details properly, but the basic concept is straightforward
